![]() I don't think it matters for the login security, but this computer is part of an AD domain connecting to servers running Windows Server 2012 R2. In doing that, while those problems do indeed seem to all be solved, the fingerprint hardware with the same driversĪnd same Windows Hello that worked before the reinstall now crashes every time I try to registry fingerprints. ![]() However, I recently re-installed Windows from scratch to clean up a few issues that nobody seemed to have a good handle on the root cause. That was the main aspect of this that I wanted working. That software is not compatible with Windows 10, so after I performed an upgrade from 8.1 toġ0, Omnipass no longer worked. But that was OK, because the fingerprint reader worked fine with Window Hello to at least let me log in to Windows. It originally shipped with Windows 8.1, which worked great with Omnipass software. I have a Fujitsu T904 convertible notebook/tablet with a fingerprint scanner.
